Abstract

Fractional kinetic equations are used to model complex physical processes, including anomalous diffusion, memory effects, and long-range interactions. In this study, a coefficient inverse problem for a fractional kinetic equation is considered. The stability of the solution to the problem is investigated. For this purpose, the coefficient inverse problem is reduced to an inverse source problem. Then the stability estimate is obtained by means of a Carleman inequality.
