Abstract
This paper studies the regional human capital (HC) convergence across 81 Turkish provinces over the 2008-2022 period, considering the role of space. To do so, this study applies both non-spatial and spatial convergence models. Furthermore, exploratory space - time data analysis (ESTDA) is used to investigate the spatiotemporal dynamics of regional HC. The results show that there is an overall process of regional HC convergence. Furthermore, spatial dependence plays a significant role in this process.
