Abstract
This study evaluated for the first time the relationship between interleukin-18 (IL-18) C607A genotypes and endometriosis in 135 women with endometriosis and 84 controls. In the study population, IL-18 -607*A homozygote and A allele were positively correlated with the risk of developing endometriosis or the stage of endometriosis. (Fertil Steril (R) 2011; 95:298-300.
